My journey in the media industry began right after college when I joined MMT Sales as a Sales Assistant. Today, I am proud to serve as the Director of Sales at Ampersand, where I have the privilege of leading a talented team at an exceptional company.
My involvement with the Alliance for Women in Media (AWM) was inspired by all the great work they do to help advance gender equity and uplift women across the media landscape. AWM gives everyone the opportunity to engage with a community that not only champions women's voices but also provides meaningful support, recognition, and resources for professional development.
Stay curious, be adaptable, and never stop building relationships. This is a fast-paced, ever-evolving field where technology, trends, and audience behaviors are constantly shifting. Embrace learning opportunities, even if they're outside your comfort zone—they often lead to the most growth.
Also, don't underestimate the power of networking. The connections you make early on can open doors later in your career. Seek out mentors, ask questions, and be open to feedback.
I'm most proud of my growth and longevity in our industry. It reflects years of hard work, learning, and relationship-building. I'm also proud to mentor others in the industry—helping them grow has been one of the most rewarding parts of my journey.
